Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Erie follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I'm not sure what happened to their pepperoni & cheese balls but this will be the last time I buy from them. Talk about disappointing when I cut one open. The bag prior to this was the same. Two pepperoni rounds, very little cheese and all bread. I tried to post a photo but it won't let me.

I really hate writing this review. This is not for their food at all but their customer service. I ordered a case of pepperoni balls to be shipped to me. It was nearly $100. I waited for my shipment to be delivered but it kept getting delayed in transit. The pepperoni balls ended up being 9 days late. They arrived in a styrofoam container and had only a small ice pack in them that had long been melted. The pepperoni balls were covered in mold. I was upset but figured they would understand and resend. I took pictures and called Staganelli. I talked to a woman who told me that I would have to pay the $50 shipping again if I wanted new product. This wasn’t any fault of my own. They chose to ship them via a very slow method. They used to ship much differently and never had issue. I tried and tried and tried to come to some kind of compromise. For over a 2 YEARS I tried. I’m not wealthy by any means. $100 is a lot for me to just lose out on for some back home nostalgia. To this day I still never received my item or a refund. I even reached out to the owner who left me a voicemail one time and never returned any other calls. No one emails me back. No one calls me back. It’s a shame. I’m

If you’re from Erie then you know the deal and don’t even need to read this review. If you’re not, hopefully you will have the opportunity to try some. Trust me - you may have had something similar but if you haven’t been to Erie you haven’t had a pepperoni ball. They are to Erie what wings are to Buffalo. And FYI wings are eaten with bleu cheese - period. I ordered some pepperoni balls and had them shipped to me after visiting my hometown and forgetting Stanganelli’s is closed on Mondays and I wasn’t able to grab some. They arrived within a couple of days and as always they are simply amazing. There’s a few places in Erie to score this hometown delicacy but Stanganelli’s is my favorite (hands down!) I ordered some pepperoni and cheese, ham and cheese, and hot cheese, jalapeño, and pepperoni this time. Delicious! Makes me miss my hometown something fierce! Thank for Stanganelli’s!

Best pepperoni balls in town. We buy them here by the dozen. Their homemade potato chips are also quite tasty, as is anything in the store!

First time l shopped there, was very impressed. I will go back. Best pepperoni balls I've had in a long time. Big and delicious. And the store employee was very helpful. Thanks just wish there was one closer to my home.
